Van der Valk Hotel Middelburg opened its doors in June 2010. The current hotel, with 117 hotel rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar and 11 different meeting rooms and boardrooms, was built in 2 years and 2 months. Behind the scenes we are very busy and involved with this new project. Starting in week 39, the site will be made ready for construction.
It is important to remember that even during the expansion, the hotel is still open to accommodate guests and our team works hard to ensure that the disruptions caused by the works are kept to a minimum, however we cannot rule out as a result of the expansion that there may be some construction noises during this period. In addition, there will be limited parking space during the first weeks of the expansion. We apologize for any inconvenience and offer our sincere thanks for your patience and support.

Opening new construction is expected in the fall of 2021.
